Lesson 17 - Painting in Carl Larsson Style

Carl Larsson was a Swedish illustrator known for depicting family life in the late 19th, early 20th century. He was a master draftsman and used line and light washes to create appealing paintings. Here is one in his style I did in class of grandbaby Ezra.

I am so pleased to have found this post! I want to try to do a watercolor in the style of Carl Larsson for an arts festival with a Scandinavian theme. Your work inspires me to get started with this project right away. Having lived in Helsinki in the 70's, I've been a Larsson admirer for decades. I really like your work.
